The inspiration for the Ice Fire Chill station at Room Service 2023 was to create a communal campfire space. For the Big Stick Shindig 2024, I would like bring the sacred ice fire to the campfire circles at Saratoga Springs. There are two established fire circles at Saratoga Springs—the sunken fire circle in the central lawn area and the larger fire pit across near the strip club. In normal years these areas tend to exist simply as smoking areas.  Each of these locations could be fitted with a central ice fire, turning them into natural 24 hour un-programmed communal chill spaces. Like the Ice Fire Chill Station, the Ice Fire Circles can be a location for other projects to contribute their distributed content. 

As a lone artist without an established crew, the Ice Marshal is looking for collaborations and volunteers. At its core, the concept is very simple, which is to present ice as a sacred fire in existing fire circles. To tie into the narrative, the obvious characters for the crew should be penguins, which not only fit with ice, but offers many or wardrobe/costume options. Depending on ability to recruit build help or partner with other crews, the space could be built out with a shade solution and/or seating, squish or other complementary ambiance.
